Urgent need for a home!!

Arriving on Dec 21st to NJ, but they currently have no place to go.
Please consider fostering, fostering to adopt, or adopting them. Please share!

Ernie, the wirehaired, and Eddie, the Chihuahua mix, were found roaming in an area in south Texas together. They were most likely dumped.

Ernie is around 3 years old and only 17 lbs.
His BFF Eddie, is a Chihuahua mix, who is about 6 month old and 14.5 lbs.
They are both fully grown.
They have been fully vaccinated and received their vet clearances to travel to NJ.

After being with them a short time, their Texas foster says they appear to be bonded pups. She says they are adorable together. No fights only love. They play together and sleep close to one another.

Please help us find a place for them to go once they arrive here on the 21st!

Ernie and Eddie are currently in Texas, but will be arriving to the NJ area on 12/21.

Submit Application

We will contact your references and vet. Then a Virtual Home Visit (video call) is conducted.

3.
Approve Application

If approved, a Meet and Greet is scheduled or transport pickup is confirmed.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Adopter gets a new "Friend for Life" and a pup has been saved.

We strive to find the best fit for the adopter and the dog.
Dogs fostered in Texas arrive on transport and go home on arrival.
Dogs fostered in PA, NJ, and NY areas can have a meet and greet after potential adopters' applications are approved.

Our focus is to save the lives of dogs and puppies in high-kill shelters in the south and local owner surrenders.

Our mission is to place unwanted and in-danger animals in homes, regardless of age or breed. To educate the public and help stop animal cruelty and neglect.
