My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maverick: He is a 3 - 4 year old Anatolian Sheppard weighing in at 96lbs but could use to put on some weight. He gets along very well with other dogs as well as cats. He does great with children, but I believe he would be better with older children. Maverick is very timid and takes some time to trust. I do not believe he has ever had any kind of training, he doesn't know any commands as far as I can see. Maverick is a very sweet and loving dog. Once he starts to trust you he loves belly rubs and giving kisses. His biggest issue is that he is very good at finding ways to get through fences. If you have a fence, it must be very secure. He really is a wonderful dog and has amazing potential, he just needs someone with the time and patience. He is very intelligent. He is wonderful in the house. Maverick is being fostered in Littlestown, PA

We screen each and every application. If something doesn't match between the application, reference checks and vet check we don't approve. We only want safe homes for our rescues so we can ensure they never have to feel unwanted again.
