Cici Ann has been doing wonderful in our home and is finally ready for adoption! She is a special little dog, but aren’t they all? She came in to rescue with a few puppies, had to be separated from them before they turned 8 weeks old, had a stubborn skin infection, and then an ear infection. Whew! Most importantly she has been diagnosed with mitral valve insufficiency. It is a very common cause of heart murmurs in small breeds such as Yorkies, chihuahuas, and poms.
She is on two heart medications daily and doing great. She loves her food, attention, and walks! She hangs out with our two dogs ( also female) during the day and sleeps in a crate beside us at night.
Her forever family will need to monitor her heart. She will need checkups twice a year and to get echos once a year to catch changes and treat it accordingly.
Cici Ann is around 3 years old or so and house-trained. She does like to remind us it is dinner time or time to go out to potty. She is little, only around 10 pounds. Due to her size and age, she is agile and also fast. So we are watchful of doors and her whereabouts at all times. Please consider meeting her and opening up your home for her.
