Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bandit is a handsome, sweet and playful bob-tailed Australian Cattle Dog mix, about 1.5 years old, 35lbs, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Originally from Texas then Louisiana, he came to Ewenity Farms very underweight but is bouncing back quickly.
Bandit is people-friendly, dog-friendly when introduced slowly, and loves to be loved on. He's kennel-trained, working on house-training, good on a leash and very trainable. He also loves his toys and is always happy to play a game of fetch.
We believe Bandit is a sports dog prospect. He's confident, focused, curious, alert, athletic, and super-smart, with high prey drive, but he's a love too, which makes him a great companion for an active, athletic person or family with room to let him explore and get his zoomies out.
Bandit is currently located in Fernandina Beach, FL and adoption applications can be found at www.ewenityfarmsbch.com.

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application. When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.
You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog after you have an approved app on file. Apps can be filled out at ewenityfarm.org

More about this rescue
We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.
It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
