Meet Jax! Jax is an adorable Aussie Lab mix born on October 14, 2024. With his feisty and curious personality, he’s ready to explore the world and bring excitement to his forever family.
This playful pup loves chew toys, stuffed animals, belly rubs, and even watch TV! He gets along great with other dogs and has the funniest way of letting them know he’s ready to play—he’ll bark to grab their attention, then bounce around in excitement. Like many puppies, Jax is a bit clumsy, which makes his antics even more endearing. Jax would thrive in a home with a family who can match his zest for life. He’s crate training and working on potty training, so a patient family ready to guide him through puppyhood will be perfect. While Jax hasn’t been around kids yet, his lively spirit makes him a great candidate to grow up with children who want a playful companion. Jax’s ideal home would include a fenced yard where he can safely burn off his energy and explore to his heart’s content. Due to his young age he will need someone that is home more often than not. Whether you’re an experienced dog owner or ready to welcome your first puppy, Jax will bring endless joy to your home. Jax is current on vaccines, and his adoption fee will include his future neuter and microchip. He will weigh around 40-50lbs fully grown. If you’d like to meet this lovable pup, contact us at adopt@carolinapaws.com.

More about this rescue
Carolina P.A.W.S. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization comprised of a network of compassionate Carolinians, all of whom are volunteers. We are devoted to helping abandoned and abused cats and dogs throughout the greater Charlotte area find loving homes. CPAWS does not have a facility and relies entirely on volunteer foster parents to care for an animal until we are able to find a pet their forever home. Our founding members have been collectively involved in animal rescue for over 20 years.
Carolina P.A.W.S. volunteers can be found "in the trenches," rescuing animals at high risk- those starving on the streets, languishing in shelters, and suffering in abusive situations. Each animal has a different past but our promise to them all is the same…a second chance. We provide them with medical attention, rehabilitate them physically and emotionally, and care for them in foster homes until they can be placed in loving permanent homes.
Along the way, we prepare them to become wonderful companions by taking the time to socialize them and patiently teaching them to trust. We also spay/neuter each one, provide all inoculations, and ensure that they are in perfect health before being made available for adoption.
