Alice is a spunky yet sweet little lady who wants please and wants to be loved. She is a timid girl, hesitant on first introduction. Alice wants to be loved and pet but she needs to warm up to you first. She warmed up to her foster mom within a day or two, and now she will snuggle on the couch with her human.

Alice is just a baby but so far she is doing very well in her crate, she goes in with some treats and settles down quickly and so far she has slept through the night without a sound or an accident. When it comes to getting her out of the crate she needs some encouragement, but her foster mom has been giving her treats and praise which really has helped build her confidence. She goes potty outside when she is taken out but she does have accidents inside the house.

Alice has a doggie foster sister that she loves to play tug of war with as well as chase around the house with. She is curious and playful with toys and has general puppy mischievousness. Alice would do well with another dog friend but she could also be an only dog with an active family who can continue help her build confidence and put her brain to use. She is very food motivated and eager to please.

This sweet adorable gal would be an amazing addition to a home, she is smart and active and has so much love to give.

More about this rescue

Hoping Fur A Home is a volunteer run dog rescue organization serving the Southern, WI area. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason – dogs in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.
