Meet Rabbit! This sweet, one-year-old feline is as unique as her name. Rabbit may start off a little shy, but give her some time, and you’ll discover a loyal and loving companion who will win your heart. Her curious nature keeps her exploring, and her gentle demeanor makes her a joy to have around. Rabbit gets along well with other cats and would thrive in a home with a feline friend or a patient adopter ready to help her blossom. Are you ready to provide Rabbit with the safe, loving home she deserves? Start the journey to make Rabbit a part of your family by filling out an adoption application at www.metrodetroitanimals.org. She’s waiting to meet you and show you how much love a little cat can give!<p> For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit (FAMD) brings a little more love into the world by celebrating the special bond between an animal and their “person.” At FAMD, we don’t just rescue dogs and cats, we make life-changing connections with the people who adopt them.
We bring our passion and animals into the community with events that help bring together dogs and cats with loving people. And our outreach programs help promote education and animal welfare legislation locally, so that fewer animals have to spend another minute waiting for their forever home.
FAMD’s new state-of-the-art Animal Adoption and Education Center at 16121 Reckinger Road in Dearborn offers animals comfortable housing and medical support. It’s where our staff and volunteers work every day to make Metro Detroit a happier, more loving place for both two-legged and four-legged creatures alike.
