LIKES: Yoshi loves to play with other dogs, nibble on chew toys, and fetching balls.
DISLIKES: sharing food
PERSONALITY TRAITS: friendly, derpy, intelligent, high-energy, cuddly, life of the party, spunky and silly.
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: does well with frequent access to outside
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: low whining, for a very short time when initially crated.
EXTRAS/MISC.: Yoshi is a high-energy puppy who does well with non-submissive dogs. He'll need plenty of exercise and chew toys to keep him busy so he doesn't chew on unapproved items. Not sure how he is on a leash but he will benefit from daily walks/hikes. He's very treat motivated and will excel in training classes, something he will need, to continue to be a well rounded puppy and future adult. He has only been around a 1 year old child (supervised during interactions since he is still learning be careful). He loves to play with dogs and is very vocal while doing so. This boy is also very sweet and loves to be cuddled.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with information about the next steps and setting up a Meet and Greet. Our process is not a “first come, first served” process. Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants to find the best fit for each adoptable dog and potential family. Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog or a response email as we get hundreds of applications and choose the best home for the dog.
Distemper/Parvo boosters, and rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery are included with the adoption fee. You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with hundreds of dollars of savings, a FREE bag of food, 30 minute private training session with a certified dog trainer, and a free checkup at Banfield.
Potential adopters must live within 30 miles of Eugene, Oregon. If you live outside the 30 mile radius, still send us an email, as we will can make exceptions if the circumstances are optimal for the dog or puppy.
