LIKES: Cowboy loves anyone who walks through the door. He loves to play with stuffies and chew toys. He likes to run around outside and smell everything he can sniff. He really loves cuddles, too.
DISLIKES: Cowboy does not like being left alone or having to sleep in a crate.
PERSONALITY TRAITS: Cowboy loves to be with people. He will sit on your lap, or next to you, while you work. This boy is full of energy and wants to play. He has zero food aggression, and loves a good treat.
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: He potties outside when kept on a regular schedule.
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Cowboy does not love being in a crate, but will settle down and sleep in one at night.
EXTRAS/MISC.: He is very good with children and other pets, though it may take him a moment to warm up to other dogs. (Supervised introductions will be key to a successful meeting with new dog friends.) He loves chew toys, and leaves human things alone.
Cowboy is a love and would be happy if he was cuddled all day.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with information about the next steps and setting up a Meet and Greet. Our process is not a “first come, first served” process. Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants to find the best fit for each adoptable dog and potential family. Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog or a response email as we get hundreds of applications and choose the best home for the dog.
Distemper/Parvo boosters, and rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery are included with the adoption fee. You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with hundreds of dollars of savings, a FREE bag of food, 30 minute private training session with a certified dog trainer, and a free checkup at Banfield.
Potential adopters must live within 30 miles of Eugene, Oregon. If you live outside the 30 mile radius, still send us an email, as we will can make exceptions if the circumstances are optimal for the dog or puppy.
