PERSONALITY TRAITS: Muffin is a total Velcro dog and will follow you around the house, only to then curl up beside you or on your lap if you let her. She likes to sleep near her person’s head, preferably ON your pillow but she will make do with laying beside you. She hasn't played with toys but loves a little wrestling when she's feeling feisty. Muffin gets along great with dogs and is submissive to bossy ones. She is fine with cats but doesn't want to be best friends. She spends most of the day napping, but if you put the leash on she is full speed ahead to get a nice walk in!
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Muffin does not understand the doggie door system, though she is slowly learning to use it. She may have been potty trained in the past but has had a few expected accidents in the new environment of her foster home. More practice, with timely outings to the yard, will help Muffin develop this important skill.
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: She will cry a bit when crated, but is quiet most of the time she is in there unsupervised. Muffin doesn't freak out and goes in, willingly, for meal time.
EXTRAS/MISC.: Muffin is a sweet little girl who is ready to become your whole world! Everyone who meets her thinks she is just the prettiest little dog.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with information about the next steps and setting up a Meet and Greet. Our process is not a “first come, first served” process. Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants to find the best fit for each adoptable dog and potential family. Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog or a response email as we get hundreds of applications and choose the best home for the dog.
Distemper/Parvo boosters, and rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery are included with the adoption fee. You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with hundreds of dollars of savings, a FREE bag of food, 30 minute private training session with a certified dog trainer, and a free checkup at Banfield.
Potential adopters must live within 30 miles of Eugene, Oregon. If you live outside the 30 mile radius, still send us an email, as we will can make exceptions if the circumstances are optimal for the dog or puppy.
