Hi, my name is Princess! I’m available for adoption as a bonded pair with my sibling, Mister Boots! We will be ready to go home once we’ve been spayed/neutered. Do you like other cats? I love my sibling, Mister Boots and need to go home with them!

What do you think about living with a dog? We have lived with dogs before and had a good experience! We may do well again with a proper introduction.

How do you feel about kids? We have done well with children of various ages in the in the past.

What was your previous home like? We were indoors in a playful home with children, cats, and dogs.

What’s your ideal home like? One that is indoors where Mister Boots and I can be together and have lots of attention and play time!

Shelter Hours are 11 AM - 6 PM every day of the week.

Adoption fees vary. Dogs, cats, and rabbits are all spayed or neutered before adoption, include initial vaccinations, a microchip for I.D., and a certificate for a free health check at a number of local veterinarians.

We're located on Greenhill Road between W. 11th and Royal Avenues, approximately 3 miles south of the airport. Directions from east or west: From the east, take the Beltline or surface streets to Barger Rd, or West 11th, and head west to Greenhill Rd. Turn left on Greenhill Rd (from Barger) or right from West 11th; we're approximately a mile down the road. From the west, take Hwy. 126 to Greenhill Rd., turn left at Greenhill Rd.

More about this shelter

Greenhill Humane Society has been caring for animals in Lane County since 1944. We operate the only animal shelter within the Eugene/Springfield area. Our programs include animal adoptions; reuniting lost animals with their families; disaster response; crisis care boarding in situations of domestic violence, medical emergencies, and other crisis situations; spay/neuter for free roaming, un-owned community cats; a pet pantry; on-site volunteer opportunities; foster care and humane education.

Last year, we helped reunite or find new loving homes for 2,826 animals. In addition, we provided 469 cat spay/neuter surgeries to assist cat caregivers in reducing feral cat over-population.

Greenhill is a private non-profit and relies on donations for a majority of its budget. The generosity of our local community enables us to provide a high level of care to lost, abandoned, and neglected animals while at the same time helping pet owners in need.
