Who doesn’t need an Otto in their life?! This youngster just arrived into our program and
while he is still being assessed we could not help but post him. Otto was with his
previous owner helping her get through some life struggles and was just a gem taking
his job very seriously. Sadly, the owner felt that she could no longer provide Otto with
the best home that he so deserves. The tough decision was made to bring him to us
knowing we could find him the ideal home to match his needs.
Otto loves to play as most youngsters do. As much as he loves to play, he will settle in
for some cuddles and down time. House training is not only done but he will pause at
the door for potty time. Tug of war is his favorite pastime so another canine companion
would be nice but not required if he can have some fun play dates or doggie day care
visits. Otto walks well on a leash but may need the occasional correction. Food
motivated means he will be a quick study to learn all his Collie lessons. We feel that
agility or rally would be right up his alley as being a Smoothie he is very smart.
More information and photos will be coming soon so keep watch off our Facebook and
Instagram pages while our website is still down.

TRI STATE COLLIE RESCUE VOLUNTEERS have been professional breeders and dog show exhibitors, and we have more then 50 years of combined professional experience with the collie breed. In addition, our group includes devoted collie owners and lovers. We are listed as a recognized rescue group with the COLLIE CLUB OF AMERICA
OUR MISSION:
To end the indiscriminate breeding practices of irresponsible breeders, to educate the public about the lifetime responsibilities of caring for a pet, including the necessity of spaying and neutering, and to promote the return of undying love and devotion collies offer their owners. Too many purebred collies are found as strays, in dog shelters, or in the humane societies. We hope to eliminate the euthanasia of these collies.
"Just when you think there are no angels, a collie comes into your life"
