Hi!! I have the perfect name to match my silky black coat. It wasn’t always this way
though. My brothers and I spent most of our first year in a not so nice place. I never
learned how to be a Collie. My foster pawrents are taking great care of me with good
food which is not only super yummy but making my coat nice and shiny! They try hard
to show me that new things can be fun and even thinks I am just a goofy boy. They
have shown me something called affection, and boy, do I really like it!! So much so, that
I will ask for a good ear scratch!! Or two or three!!! I am tall and I am pretty quiet. My
favorite thing to do is play with my foster siblings, and cats are okay too. Toys and chew
bones were unknown to me before I came here, but now I think they are just swell!! I’ve
learned to catch and I’m starting to learn to fetch. I still like to go in my crate, it’s my den
and safe spot but I get to keep the door open so I can come and go. I know how to ask
to go outside and potty, but sometimes it takes me a while. I get scared of a lot of
noises, but I am getting better each day. I’m walking on a leash with my foster siblings,
but it’s still too scary to walk on my own. I’d really like to have a dog friend at my new
home to keep helping me learn to play and go on walks. I hope you see the hope in my
eyes that you will be my human. I really need you.

TRI STATE COLLIE RESCUE VOLUNTEERS have been professional breeders and dog show exhibitors, and we have more then 50 years of combined professional experience with the collie breed. In addition, our group includes devoted collie owners and lovers. We are listed as a recognized rescue group with the COLLIE CLUB OF AMERICA
OUR MISSION:
To end the indiscriminate breeding practices of irresponsible breeders, to educate the public about the lifetime responsibilities of caring for a pet, including the necessity of spaying and neutering, and to promote the return of undying love and devotion collies offer their owners. Too many purebred collies are found as strays, in dog shelters, or in the humane societies. We hope to eliminate the euthanasia of these collies.
