My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Clark Griswold, the lovable big fella with a heart of gold! This gentle giant is a master of snuggles, often forgetting his size and trying to squeeze onto your lap.

Clark is fantastic with other dogs and kids
While he is leash-friendly, he occasionally has excitement-driven pulls.
Clark is fostered with a sister dog and two human sisters, proving his social skills

Clark is working on mastering house training (he's almost there!). His ninja-level sneaky skills require close supervision to prevent unwanted chewing. Clark can get spooked easily and needs patient reassurance. Clark has occasional separation anxiety when kenneled but responds well to comfort.

Clark will come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $200.

More about this rescue

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
