My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Allow me to introduce you to Blake, an endearing 1-year-old Labrador retriever mix who is eager to find his forever home! 🐾❤️ This sweet boy is the epitome of love and affection, thriving on the attention he receives from those around him. To describe him as snuggly would be an understatement; he is the kind of dog who will curl up next to you, seeking warmth and companionship, making every moment spent together feel special. Although he may initially be a bit shy, once he warms up, you will find that his affection knows no bounds. The time you invest in helping him feel secure will be rewarded with endless snuggles and unwavering loyalty.

His foster family has an abundance of wonderful things to say about him. They have witnessed firsthand how deeply he loves and how he connects with those he trusts. Blake loves deeply and unconditionally. His foster grandma, in particular, is smitten with him. She often mentions that she has never seen a pet look at her with such adoration and admiration. Every night, Blake snuggles up in bed with her, providing comfort and companionship thar only a devoted dog can offer.

Blake's gentle temperament extends to his interactions with others. He is typically walked by the 7-year-old little girl in his foster home, which speaks volumes about his kind nature and how well he interacts with children. His behavior on a leash is nothing short of amazing, as he walks alongside his little human buddy with grace and ease. Blake listens attentively and responds well to commands, demonstrating his eagerness to please and his desire to be a good companion.

In addition to being crate and potty trained, Blake is adaptable and well-mannered, making him a perfect addition to any household. He thrives in environments where he can feel safe and loved. His gentle demeanor extends beyond just humans; he gets along exceptionally well with kids, cats, pigs, horses, and other dogs. This social butterfly truly embodies the spirit of companionship, loving everyone he meets.

Blake is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on the lookout for his forever home—one where he can share his boundless love and affection with a family that will cherish him as he deserves. His ideal home would be one filled with warmth, kindness, and the understanding that he has so much love to give. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal companion into your life, Blake could be the perfect match for you! ❤️

RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please email:

Go meet their pets

While most of our adoptions are site unseen we do provide videos and pics so you can get a good idea of the dog or cat you are looking at. While you may like a certain pet, by using our interviewing process, we can discover if this will be a good pet for the family. Sometimes we may discover this pet and the family may not work so we will introduce you to others that will. We do not adopt rather we believe in matching. We have a proven track record and have placed thousands of unwanted pets into loving. We hope to help you as well.

More about this rescue

We are a 501c3 that works to take neglected, unwanted, abandoned and often abused animals into safety and make them ready for a forever home filled with love and kindness. Some are very damaged and we make sure the new pet parent understand these animals have not had an easy life. Most respond to love and go on to have healthy & happy lives. Some sadly take longer and the new pet parent has entered into the adoption knowing that they are handicapped and need longer rehabilitation.
Our goal is to always spay/neuter, completely vet and take out of high kill areas into areas with a high demand for family pets. Eliminating the need to kill them and fulfill the desire of others to adopt a sweet loving pet. ADOPTING SAVES LIVES!!
