Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Tulip is ready for her furever home! She came into our program through no fault of her
own. She will need some finishing on the leash and with her manners around kitchen
counters but she promises to work very hard on her lessons. A velcro dog that loves
cuddles…well, enough from us…here is what Tulip has to say:
“What can you say about a flower? That they’re always beautiful and have a wonderful
perfume. You can always count on a flower to brighten your day. I guess that’s why they
named me Tulip. I’m as pretty as a Posey! Even though I haven’t had much life
experience and I have been a mother, I’m so easy going and laid back that you’ll be
amazed I am only 5 years old as I have lots of Collie girl energy. I must say I really don’t
appreciate cats or chickens. So, I’m kind of looking for a home that doesn’t have either
one of them. I would love another dog to keep me company but honestly that’s not
necessary either. The only thing I want to do is be the Collie of your dreams. Can you
imagine you and I spending nights together on the couch cuddled up watching TV while
it's snowing outside? You know I’ll keep you safe and alert you of anything that goes on.
There is that saying as sweet as Tupelo Honey! That’s exactly what I am!!! If you want
me to be your dream girl you better fill out an application fast because someone is good
looking as I am isn’t going to be around the rescue very long.”
If Tulip strikes your fancy and you are ready to help her continue to be the best Collie
citizen ever, please fill out an adoption application today! Don’t wait! And if Tulip isn’t
your cup of tea, we have many more Collies of all ages coming in weekly. Please visit

TRI STATE COLLIE RESCUE VOLUNTEERS have been professional breeders and dog show exhibitors, and we have more then 50 years of combined professional experience with the collie breed. In addition, our group includes devoted collie owners and lovers. We are listed as a recognized rescue group with the COLLIE CLUB OF AMERICA
OUR MISSION:
To end the indiscriminate breeding practices of irresponsible breeders, to educate the public about the lifetime responsibilities of caring for a pet, including the necessity of spaying and neutering, and to promote the return of undying love and devotion collies offer their owners. Too many purebred collies are found as strays, in dog shelters, or in the humane societies. We hope to eliminate the euthanasia of these collies.
