Introducing Birdie. He is a 10 month old Heeler Mix who weighs 39 lbs. He is a very sweet and loveable boy. He is extremely friendly. He is food motivated. He loves toys, treats, and bones. His endearing trait is one ear that stands up all the time. He has a good mix of energy, he is playful but also enjoys laying on the couch. He's ready to go home as soon as 12/20/24.

His adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

Wish Bone Canine Rescue rehabilitates and re-homes dogs. We are a not-for-profit, no-kill organization located in Central Illinois, whose primary focus is to find responsible, loving and permanent homes for the surrendered, abandoned, neglected or abused dogs from within our community. We do not discriminate based on a dog’s breed, age or health . We are a foster home based rescue; however, we also have a facility where dogs are cared for until foster placement or adoption.
