My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Hannah was brought in by their previous owner.

Why Hannah might be the one for you:
Hannah is another good tabby cat ready to join a household that knows tabby cats are the best. Tabby cats have quite a following because they are known for their intelligence and friendliness. Once someone has a tabby cat in their household, they often don't want any other kind of cat. Just saying. But, back to tabby Hannah. She is easy to pick up. She wants to be petted. She gives a good "elevator butt up" when she is gently petted on her back at the base of her tail, which means she likes to be petted there. She uses her kitty litter, she likes food and treats. She has an easy going temperament. What is not to like? If you agree and want a very nice tabby cat, email us and check out Hannah. Psst - she has a brother if you might want two really good tabby cats.

At SDHS:
Hannah has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is now ready for her new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
