My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi I'm MJ or Mary Jane.

My DOB is 5/6/2024.

I am a cuddler. I could cuddle almost all day. Need a lap warmer? Done. Need some emotional support in the form of purring? Done. Need someone to dols down the blankets at night? Done.
I am sugary sweet and would do well in pretty much any home.

I've got the most beautiful green eyes you've ever seen.

I currently live with a VERY big dog, chickens, three other cats, and three kids (including one baby) and I do great with ALL. It took me about 2 days to get used to all them and I just rolled with it. The dog likes to chew on my head and I even let her do that.

I'm very into my people. I'll even be fine with your guests. A lap is a lap, and I love to nap.

I am 100% litterbox trained and rock at being an indoor cat.

If you need a second cat to help me thrive, think about adopting one of my siblinga, also up for adoption- Inky or Nox.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes adoption application which can be completed at our website wagsmn.org. Current fees can also be accessed on our website. After reviewing your application, a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet in the foster’s home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit is scheduled and, if everything goes well with the visit, the adoption is finalized. A home visit by one of our representatives is required prior to finalizing any adoption, and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes: vet exam(s), spay/neuter, de-worming, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older), vaccinations, microchip, and FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only). Email is the best way to get a fast response (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com).

Go meet their pets

All animals are available to meet by appointment arranged with the foster.
Please come see us at Petsmart on the 2nd Saturday of each month in Eagan (Petsmart 1297 Promenade Pl, Eagan, MN 55121); 4th Saturday of each month in Richfield (Petsmart 1100 W 78th St, Richfield, MN 55423); and the 3rd Sunday of each month in Maple Grove (Petsmart 11200 Fountains Way Maple Grove, MN 55369). We will have many adoptable dogs, puppies, and maybe a kitten or two that are able to attend for public viewing... please stop in and play! If you are interested in a specific dog or cat from viewing our available animals at wagsmn.org, please email us in advance of an adoption event (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com), and we will do our best to have them at the event.
