My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Margie is curious, sweet, and loyal shepherd mix. A Velcro dog that likes to sit on laps. She loves water and can be found lounging in the waves at Coronado beach or romping in the bay at fiesta island. Or, playing with her stepsister Penny. She is potty trained, crate trained, and picks up training very quickly. Margie is waiting for her forever home or a long term foster.

Margie was saved from the kill list because a foster committed to giving her a temporary home :) >> now she’s looking for that permanent place to call her home.

Go meet their pets

Our rescue facility is located in Tijuana. Once our rescues are ready for adoption, they are transported to our adoption events in San Diego. Pre-adopted and Foster-to-Adopt pets are included on our transports. Follow Del Mar Dog Rescue on Facebook and Instagram or visit our website and stay up to date on our rescues and adoption events.

We are also in Puyallup, WA! When we are there, our adoption events take place at the PetSmart on 156th Street.
