My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Benjamin the Beagle!

Benjamin is a 2 year old 25 lb a sweet and submissive Beagle with a curious heart and a love for adventure. At his core, he's a gentle soul who avoids conflict, but that doesn’t stop him from exploring his world. He adores going for walks, soaking in all the sights and smells, and he’s always ready for a snuggle session when the walk is done.

Dog-friendly? Absolutely—Benjamin loves his canine companions!
Cat-friendly? Yes—he gets along great with feline friends.
Kid-friendly? Adores children, including his 2-year-old foster grandson.

Benjamin is a well-mannered boy who is housetrained, crate trained, and leash trained. He’s the perfect mix of independent and affectionate, making him a wonderful addition to any family.

Benjamin will go for his medical care this week and will soon be ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Benjamin might be the perfect match!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
