My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Berry, the sweetest and most playful 15-month-old, 32-pound bundle of joy is ready to fill your home with love and laughter. Berry is house trained, kennel trained, and has the best energy to keep up with your family’s adventures. He loves people of all ages—kids, adults, and everyone in between—and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats.

Berry's story is a little bittersweet; he was surrendered to a vet after bigger dogs in his previous home were aggressive toward him, but he's resilient, affectionate, and eager for a fresh start with a loving family who will cherish him. He’s fully vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on all his shots, so he’s all set to join your home and begin making new memories. Berry comes from Kentucky and can’t wait to meet his new family.

If you’re looking for a happy, playful companion to add to your home, Berry just might be your perfect match. Apply for adoption today at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application, and give this lovable pup the second chance he deserves.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
