My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

>Meet Snowy!<

Snowy is a social, mellow rabbit who lived with another rabbit for many years. Sadly, Snowy's best friend passed, and she became a single rabbit. Snowy was not alone though, as she lived with a cat and a dog.
Her canine friend became her new buddy, and they would take naps together. Snowy also was fine with the cat in the household.
This is an unusual mix of species, and we cannot guarantee that it will be the same with other dogs and cats.
Snowy is such a wonderful rabbit who would do well in a household with older children or adults as she had never lived with young children. Snowy would most likely be overwhelmed with fast movements and a noisier environment as most rabbits would.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort
