My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We first met Hank 5 years ago at our local shelter. We were told at the time that he was 2 years old, making him 7 now. We instantly fell in love with his sweet face and goofy personality, and took him home that day to integrate with our other dog and three cats. While things went well for a while, eventually Hank started showing signs of stress with the cats and began to chase them or lunge at them occasionally. This problem persisted and we eventually decided to get Hank training to help curb his prey drive. While immensely helpful, the training did not fully stop his prey drive, and he still has moments where he will lunge at or try to attack our pets.

My wife is now pregnant with our first child, and while we currently have time to supervise Hank's interaction with the pets, we know that we will not be able to with a newborn. We love our friendly boy so much but know that he needs to be in a solo pet environment, and want to find him a home where he can be happy and free.
