My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

- A real social butterfly who will say hello to everyone and put her paws in your lap asking for attention - very much a people dog

- Super sweet and loves to cuddle

- Loves toys so much that she can't help but carry them around; has even been known to carry her stuffies with her on walks here at the shelter

- Enjoys going on walks, and our volunteers say she is good on a leash and mostly stays by their side

- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her (mature home recommended)

- Very uncomfortable around other dogs and would prefer to be the only dog in her new home

- All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age

- The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, and not breed label
