My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Cissy, and I’m a little sweetie with a sleek black coat and just a touch of white to make me extra cute! I’ve got a lot of spunk and love to play! Whether it’s chasing toys, running around, or just getting into a little mischief, I’m always ready for fun. I’m also super smart and a fast learner! When there’s food involved, you can bet I’m paying attention and training me will be a breeze. I’m already kennel trained, and my foster mom says I’m doing awesome with housetraining; and as long as she remembers to take me outside, I don’t have any accidents. I’ve been working on being a good girl and I sure hope I can find my furever home in time for Christmas. I’m looking for a family that’s ready for lots of love, laughs, and maybe even a little bit of adventure. If you’re looking for a playful, bright, and affectionate puppy to make your holiday season and all the seasons after that a little brighter, I just might be the one for you!
Love, Cissy

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption application process , which includes a home visit, help us to ensure we find wonderful, permanent loving and caring families for each one of our dogs. We feel that honesty is the best policy when it comes to finding homes for our dogs; we want to avoid any unfortunate surprises after you bring your new friend home. After all, we are looking for a BEDR life for our dogs! There is an online adoption application that must be filled completed before a home visit will be set up. The application can be found on our website,

We are entirely foster-home based; we do not have a shelter facility. We do have adoption events regularly at pet stores and other locations in Regina and Southern Saskatchewan for upcoming events check out the events on our website or Facebook page.

More about this rescue

PLEASE USE APPLICATION LINK ABOVE, NOT EMAIL!

We are a registered charitable NO KILL Rescue, located in Regina, SK, Canada dedicated to helping dogs that have fallen on hard times (homeless, abandoned and in some cases, surrendered). With the help of dedicated volunteer foster families, our dogs live as part of the family while they are in foster care right up until they move in with their new family. We strive to help with the over-population of pets by making sure each and every puppy*, adolescent and adult dog is spayed/neutered. (*Note: sterilization of puppies is the owner's responsibility and proof of sterilization must be shown at 6 months of age.)
