Meet Moana - the 9-month-old female Chug (possible pug/chihuahua mix) who lives up to her name. Just like the Disney character, Moana is adorably cute, active, mischievous and very smart. She is also resilient.

Moana had a rough start in her young life. She was found as a stray with rubber bands tied so tightly around her ears that she ended up losing the bottom half of each ear. As sad as that is, she has rebounded from that abuse and left all that in her past. She is filled with so much love. Though she is a bit shy when you first meet her, she quickly comes out of her shell and will make you laugh with her silly personality. Once she trusts you, she will shower you with kisses and affection. Moana will also be your constant shadow, following you from room to room and snuggling on the couch and bed.

She is good with cats and loves all dogs she meets, from small to large, she just wants to play. A home with another dog as a companion would be ideal. Moana is also good with children but she can play rough sometimes so older children would be a better match. And because she is so playful and full of energy she would not do well in an apartment, she needs a home with a fenced yard for her daily zoomies. She walks well on a leash and rides great in the car. She’s also housebroken but needs to be let out frequently as she is still a puppy. Moana is just a wonderful puppy, filled with so much love to give to the right family.
