We are looking to find a loving forever home for Red. Red spent a lot of time in shelters and was on a euthanasia list. He is very shy and likely has some trauma, but once he becomes comfortable around you he is very sweet, loving and playful. He is about a year old, 71 pounds, and mostly Plott Hound from what we can tell. He is neutered and microchipped and is up to date on all immunizations; he had a recent health checkup at our vet and is in perfect health. He loves other dogs and loves people once he warms up to them. He is house trained and crate trained, rides well in a car, not aggressive at all and does not bark or jump.
We rescued him because he was in the shelter for so long, and he was so nervous and scared in that crate. We couldn’t stand to leave such a sweet boy to live like that. But he’s our third dog, and it’s just a bit too much for our small house/yard and our schedules, so we’re hoping to find a better fit for Red.
