My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vicki the beautiful is looking for her forever home. She expects to be pampered and spoiled, treated with respect and dignity, and above all- loved. Vicki is just as sweet as she is beautiful, and she will make awonderful addition to the right family.
Vicki came to Cameron Animal Hospital after her previous family could not keep her and surrendered her to the city shelter. The change has been overwhelming, but Vicki has handled it with quiet dignity. Vicki is approximately 10 years old, and is healthy. She is FeLV/FIV negative and is spayed. She has had general bloodwork, which was perfect, and had dentistry. Her adoption includes her full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines; fecal testing and prophylactic treatment; her microchip; and 30 days of free pet insurance.
Vicki is sweet and gentle with people. She is a slightly older lady, and has definite ideas about what she likes and doesn't like- Likes include pettting, quiet attention, and food. Dislikes include noisy kittens, most other cats, and an empty food dish. Vicki thrive in a quiet home where she was the only pet and the center of attention. She would return the love 10-fold, and make a wonderful cuddle buddy for cold winter nights.

More about this rescue

Cameron Animal Hospital has been located on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey, since 1936. The family-owned hospital is the first purposfully built animal hospital in the state of NJ, and provides veterinary services to cats, dogs, and other small animals, including rabbits, rats, ferrets, and more.

Cameron Animal Hospital is not a shelter, but works extensively with the rescue community in Essex County by providing veterinary care to local shelters, and finding homes to a variety of animals (cats, dogs, and small animals) who have come into our care.
