My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How Bear and Tank Goliath arrived:
Bear and Tank Goliath were brought in by their previous owner on November 7, 2024.

Why these two are the one for you:
Meet Bear! Bear is a lovable boy looking for a cozy spot to enjoy his golden years together with his best friend, Tank Goliath 245487. Bear and Tank Goliath can typically be spotted snuggled up close together on their dog bed. This easygoing guy has a soft spot for treats (maybe a few too many!) and is happy to share his world with respectful kids and other dogs. Bear will be in need of a dental cleaning in the near future. He's not a fan of fireworks or bath time, but he is potty trained and walks like a pro on the leash-so he's already got a lot down! Bear dreams of spending his days napping on your lap or the couch, soaking up all the love. Ready to make his dream come true?

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
