Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I`d been hanging around a neighborhood for a few months when a kind person noticed I seemed to be favoring one paw and got me into Animal Ark for treatment. She described me as friendly, outgoing, and affectionate. My name is Salem and I`m a one-year-old gray and white male. Now that I`m vaccinated, neutered, and healthy, I`m looking for a home where I`ll be kept safely indoors as a member of a family. Come visit me at the shelter if you are looking for an energetic and loving little companion.

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
