Meet Bowie, a lively kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This little ball of energy loves nothing more than chasing his toys and proudly carrying his "prey" around in his mouth. But don't let his adventurous side fool you; he is just as affectionate as he is playful. He adores cuddles and will happily settle into your arms for a snuggle session.

Bowie is looking for a forever home alongside his brother, Lennon. They will be fine with older children who are experienced and gentle with kittens. These two are inseparable, spending their days playing, exploring, and curling up together for cozy naps. Ready to welcome double the love and fun?

Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
