Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Marie is a sweet, playful girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she loves affection. She’ll rub your legs and arch her back for pets, especially enjoying gentle chin scratches. Marie is very food and treat motivated, especially when it comes to wet food, Churus, and Temptations treats. She loves to play with wand toys and enjoys her hooded beds and cardboard scratcher houses.
Marie currently lives with her sister, Abigail, and they are very close. It’s best for them to be adopted together, as Marie doesn’t seem to get along with other cats. If adopted separately, she would need to be the only cat or have a slow, calm introduction to any other pets, particularly dogs. She would do best in a dog-free home or one with a dog that respects her space.
Marie has come a long way since being found abandoned in a laundry basket at a shelter. She was once very shy and couldn’t be petted without getting overstimulated, but now she’s become a lap cat and enjoys spending time with her humans. Marie will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to continue thriving.
