Stubby would do great in any active household where he would get lots of attention and be the baby of the house. He does like to be the center of attention and has a big personality. He is still learning his manners and needs someone that will be patient with him. Stubby is cat tested and does well with his cat friend. He loves the company of other dogs and must go to a home where he will have unlimited toys (his request). This short & stout beefcake will be the star of the show wherever he goes!
Stubby is a growing male Mountain Cur/Basset Hound mix who was was born approximately 9-10-24. At the 3 month mark, he weighed in at 14 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. Since most of the pets we rescue have been orphaned or abandoned, we are not certain of their breed/mix and are not able to pinpoint how big they will be full-grown if they are still young. We do our best to determine the breed(s) they most closely resemble.
