My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Bonded with Ethan Hammer ***

Introducing Andre Anchor, the three-month-old kitten who's ready to secure his spot in your heart's relay team! 🏃‍♂️💨 Named after Canadian gold medalist Andre De Grasse, Andre Anchor is destined to be the star of your home. Just like the anchor leg in a relay, he's the perfect finisher-bringing joy, love, and a playful spirit to the final stretch of your day! He's bonded to his best buddy/brother Ethan. These two medalists cant stand to be apart!

Andre may be small, but he's got the heart of a champion. 🏅 He loves to play, sprinting around like he's on the track, chasing toys with all the speed and grace of a true relay anchor. When the race is done, this little athlete knows how to wind down, curling up for some well-deserved snuggles. 🐾💤

With Andre Anchor & Ethan Hammer by your side, you'll always feel like a winner. They've got the energy to keep the game going and the warmth to make every cuddle session feel like you've crossed the finish line together. Ready to take the baton from this speedy little guy?

Adopt Andre Anchor & Ethan Hammer today, and let them bring their gold-medal love into your life! 🏠❤️

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
