My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Captain! This sweet and independent boy was found as a stray and is looking for his forever home. Captain loves to run and play, so he needs a large, secure yard with a 6-foot fence (he’s known to jump). He’s a quick learner and picks up commands fast, but still needs some work on his manners, like walking nicely on a leash and not chewing on things he shouldn’t when unsupervised. Captain is very chill when meeting new people and doesn’t bark much in the backyard. While he enjoys his independence, he’s also very affectionate and eager to bond. He’d do best as the only pet, as his compatibility with other dogs, cats, or children is unknown. If you’re looking for a sweet, active dog who just needs a little guidance, Captain could be your perfect match!
