My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cory is a sweet, snuggly boy looking for a forever home where he can bask in love and companionship. At 8 years old and 21 lbs, Cory has a gentle and laid-back personality. He is house and crate trained, making him a perfect companion for any family. While Cory is still getting used to car rides (he gets a bit nervous), with time and patience, he will likely become more comfortable on the road.

This lovable pup absolutely adores being held and will melt your heart with his cuddles. He’s a true snuggle bug and loves to be close to his humans. Cory gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and shares his current foster home with two friendly cats, whom he adores. He is submissive and happy in the presence of other animals, but he’d also be just as content being the only dog in your home, soaking up all the attention!

Cory is looking for a calm, loving home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by affection. Whether you’re looking for a sweet companion for your other pets or a devoted solo sidekick, Cory is sure to bring joy and warmth to your life. If you’re ready to open your heart to this sweet boy, Cory can’t wait to meet you!

If you are interested in adopting Cory, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
