Olive is a laid-back lady who is as sweet and kind as they come. She enjoys a calm environment where she can take her time exploring, then settle right by your side for some well-deserved affection. Olive loves pets and scritches, even rolling over to show her belly for rubs.
Olive isn’t very interested in play just yet. she’s happiest lounging near her people and soaking up all the love she can get. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion to share quiet moments and gentle snuggles, Olive is ready to be your best friend.
Behavior Notes:
Per Staff 12/16: Took Olive out with another Staff member to get her a cute holiday picture and give her some love! She was so sweet. She needed help with directions since she’s temporarily wearing an e-collar, and she refused to walk directly in any rain puddles (classy queen). She did great posing with a little santa hat on and enjoyed all the attention. Love this girl!
BEHAVIOR EVALUATION 12/16:
KNOWN HISTORY:
Police pickup
KENNEL PRESENTATION:
Olive was on the backside for cleaning, laying down and sat up when I called for her. She had soft eyes and a wagging tail and allowed me to easily leash her while she stayed seated.
LEASH SKILLS:
Pulls minimally
HANDLING:
In the room, Olive was very laid back and came. She walked around the room panting for a little bit and made her rounds back to me. She sat by my side laid out and then when I called her up to my lap she scooted closer to me and let me rub her back and she began falling asleep. She is a gentle short stock and a very kind hearted lady. She allowed all over handling and bean rolling over to show her belly for some rubs. She does occasionally lip lick when you get closer to her tail so i tend to stay away. She has some sores that seem to bother her. Otherwise a very sweet and chill girl that loves to be pet and lay down near you.
PLAY:
Minimal interest
TOYS:
No interest
