Hello, world! 🌹 I’m Rosee—yes, with two 'E's because I’m extra like that.
Speaking of "extra," let me just drop a fun fact: I’m 6 months old and already tipping the scales at a whopping 70lbs. Yep, you read that right—70 pounds! At this rate, I’m on a fast track to polar bear status, so if you’re ready to welcome me into your family, here’s what you can expect: A fluffy butt that’ll need its own zip code (get ready to navigate around it), an intense case of Big Dog Syndrome, which means I’ll definitely try to sit in your lap—because in my mind, I’m a dainty Chihuahua, and, let’s be real, you might want to start thinking about upgrading to a bigger car because squeezing me into your compact sedan could get interesting.
Well, let me tell you how I ended up with my awesome foster family. Apparently, I have a little too much enthusiasm when it comes to farm animals and wasn't always what you called well-behaved around the livestock. My previous family loved me dearly, but I just didn’t quite vibe with their livestock. So, they realized that maybe I wasn’t the best farm dog after all and ended up surrendering me to PPFT.
Okay, let’s clear something up. Yes, I’m a Great Pyrenees, and yes, we’re supposed to be singing the song of our people 24/7, preferably at 3 a.m. But… here’s the thing—that’s not really me (at least, not yet). Right now, I’m more of the quiet, laid-back type, even when the other dogs are putting on their best opera performances! Shocking, right? Now, don’t get me wrong—I’ve got a playful side! I love a good wrestle session, but I also love a great nap. Seriously, I’m like a professional napper. I’m all about finding the comfiest spot in the house and claiming it for myself. When it comes to walks, I’m your gal! Who wouldn’t want to stroll around, sniffing every blade of grass like it’s a secret treasure map? I’m not exactly a speed demon, though—no need to rush through life. Let’s take it slow, stop and smell... well, everything, and enjoy the day. And while I’m always happy to go out and about, especially because I’m super well-mannered when meeting new people, I’m more of a “take it easy” kind of dog. So if you’re a marathon runner or someone who thinks three runs a day sounds like fun, I’m probably not your girl. You can try to take me along, but I really hope you’ve got a Rosee-sized backpack ready to go because once I’m done, I’m DONE. And trust me, you’ll know when that happens—no amount of "come on, Rosee!" will get me to budge!
But honestly? I’m just as content chilling at home with my favorite humans. As long as there’s a cozy spot for me to claim, I’m golden.
Now, I may not be a runner, but I’m always up for making new friends! I get along great with other dogs and absolutely adore kiddos. But just a heads-up: I’m not the Energizer Bunny. If you’re looking for someone to tire out your hyperactive Husky or entertain your sugar-crazed toddler, you might want to look elsewhere. When I’m ready to wind down, I’ll happily find my spot, give a good stink eye to their crazy antics, and take a well-deserved nap. As for those purrintors (I hear they have a bit of a “god complex”), I haven’t met one yet, but I’m pretty sure I’d just ignore them. I mean, who has time for that kind of drama? It’s so beneath me. 😎
As for where I'd like to live, I don’t think I have what it takes to be an apartment dog. I’m already a pretty big girl (and I’m still growing), and let’s be honest—those tiny rooms? I’d never be able to turn around without knocking over a lamp or two. Plus, can you imagine the chaos when I plop my big ol' self right in the middle of the kitchen and everyone has to start doing Olympic-level acrobatics just to avoid tripping over me? Yeah, I’m definitely more of a "space to spread out" kind of gal. The good news? You won’t have to worry about me having accidents inside. Nope, not even one with my foster mama. I’m kennel trained, though honestly, it’s never really been necessary since I’m pretty chill with free roam of the house. I’m still young and curious, so sometimes I might mistake random household items for toys (oops!), but I’m easily redirected. I’m a big fan of my bone and rope toys, so with a well-puppy-proofed house, we should be good to go (well mostly at least ;) ).
So, if you're ready for a big, fluffy, lovable goofball who’s always up for a nap but can throw down for a good play session (when the mood strikes), I’m your girl! Let’s make your home a little more fun, a lot more fluffy, and totally Rosee-tastic. Quick heads-up: if you want to make me part of your family, you’ll have to come meet me in Owasso, OK! No shipping me across the country like some mystery box—I’m too precious for that. Instead, think of it as a fun road trip to meet your new best friend in person (spoiler alert: that’s me!). I promise, it’ll be worth the drive, and you’ll get all the love and cuddles you can handle when you arrive. What’s better than picking up the world’s cutest pup yourself? Nothing, if you ask me!
You can find the application to adopt me by either messaging PPFT directly or on their website! ❤
Love
Rosee
