My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for the ultimate cuddle companion? Then you must meet Nemo, a dashing five-year-old tuxedo cat who is a distinguished gentleman through and through. Nemo exudes patience and tolerance. He is perfectly content being lifted, hugged, or indulging in belly rubs—making him the ultimate cuddle companion. Always chirpy, Nemo has a delightful habit of greeting you with soft coos whenever you enter the same room. He likes to sleep with his foster family and sometimes even snuggles in on top of his sleeping family members. This handsome boy loves to keep himself entertained, whether with his favourite toys on strings or by finding new ways to charm his human friends. Playful yet independent, he’s a perfect mix of fun and poise. Like any cat in a new home, he will need time to adjust to his new surroundings. Still, when he feels confident in your love, he will show you how affectionate and charismatic he is! Nemo would do well in a home with no other pets, so he can have all the cuddle time to himself!

Nemo was rescued during a chilly Thanksgiving weekend. He was found after being abandoned by his previous owners when they moved without taking him along. Despite his hardships, Nemo has blossomed into a mature and affectionate feline who warms the hearts of everyone he meets.

Nemo’s gentle demeanour makes him a joy to be around, and his steadfast companionship will melt your heart. Whether you need a playful buddy or a calm snuggle partner, Nemo is the tuxedoed gentleman ready to make your days brighter.

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
