My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kit is a super affectionate, goofy, vocal boy. He loves nothing more than to spend time with his human. He's the perfect companion, always eager to follow you around the house and keep you company, whether you're working on relaxing. Once Kit opens up and feels comfortable after a few days, he's a true people cat. He also loves other cats and even the (relaxed and friendly) dogs he's been in foster with. When he's not curled up and snuggling, Kit is full of energy and loves to play. His favorite toys are a slinky and a wand toy, and he's always up for a good chase.

We rescued Kit in Crown Heights from a neighbor's yard. He was very scared at first and warmed up once he knew he was safe. He's neutered, up to date on vaccines, negative for FIV and FeLV, and treated for parasites and fleas.

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.
