Penny wandered into our yard one day following the smell of our grill. She was dirty, covered in bugs and extremely emaciated. She had an old flea collar on, so we assumed she belonged to someone. We fed her. She kept coming back. We live where there are coyotes and got concerned about her being left outside. I treated the bugs and eventually let her into our basement. I took her to the vet. We paid for her shots and for her to be fixed, totaling over $200. We would love to be able to keep her. She is so friendly and has never scratched anyone once! We have two other cats who have been very territorial ever since we brought her in the basement.
She is great with young children. She gets along with dogs of all sizes. our cats don’t particularly like her, but she is not bothered by them.
We want to find a forever home for her.
