My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lewis is currently in foster care and ready for adoption! To begin the process, please submit an adoption survey and the team will reach out via email to schedule a counseling call (please check spam). For any additional questions, please contact fosternyc@bestfriends.org.

*Please note we do not hold animals for adoption*

Lewis is an adorable 3-month-old grey tabby male kitten bursting with energy and curiosity. He loves to play and explore, making every day an adventure. With his charming tabby stripes and sweet personality, Lewis is sure to be a delightful addition to any family.

Lewis's fosters love having him, they say "he will be the cuddliest little kitten you’ll ever find and follow you wherever you go. He’s very chatty and likes to play with hands and feet that are moving in front of him and bite playfully but it’s never hurtful." They love "The way he looks at you with his big eyes like you’re the love of his life and how cuddly he is".

Lewis arrived to us with a misaligned jaw, possibly due to a previous injury. Lewis is still too young for surgical intervention, so Best Friends will cover the cost of a pre-scheduled follow-up X-ray when he reaches 8 months old to determine the next steps. Any additional treatments or procedures will be the adopter's responsibility.

Lewis is neutered, vaccinated up to his age limit, microchipped, and has received preventative treatments to ensure he's ready for his new home.
