My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi, my name is Winnie...I'm not much of a talker but I'll give this a go.
I was abandoned after having my puppies, I don't know where they are but I hope they are okay. Since then, I've been trying to find a safe place to stay. I think I have found one, they give me food, water, and a warm dog house, but I'm still not so sure. I know I would really love to be inside on a couch....
There are other dogs here, which is nice, I like other dogs. I try to play with them a little bit, but I'm afraid of being myself, I don't want to get in trouble. I'm very timid around people, and flinch sometimes -- I don't think I was treated well before.
I am looking for my forever home. I wouldn't mind being around other animals, but I would need some time to adjust to people. I'm a really friendly gal, but I need someone who is patient and understanding. I do great on a leash, but I'm not sure if I'm potty trained (I currently stay outside). Oh, I'm also vaccinated and will be getting spayed -- YIKES!
if you're interested in meeting me, or adopting me , send a message. I know I deserve a good home, if you'll give me a chance.

Go meet their pets

Our pets are all in foster homes. One of our volunteers is always available to introduce prospective families to our pets, by appointment.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers that realized the need for a rescue in our area for animals that are considered "last chance." We work with neglected, abused, starved, dumped, abandoned, injured animals. We have rehabed and adopted 2 Great Danes that were days from death because of starvation, a dog that was attacked by Coyotes, 2 gun shot victims, a dog that was purposely set on fire (we couldn't save her but we provided the vetting services for the family). We have rescued at least 50 dogs that have been dumped and abandoned including several mothers and litters that we work to get into rescues out of state.
