Meet Birch: Your Perfect Snuggle and Play Partner!

Birch is a charming 5-month-old brown tabby with sleek, shorthair fur and a personality that will brighten your days. This affectionate little guy is equal parts playful and cuddly, making him the perfect balance of fun and love.

Birch has a boundless curiosity and loves following his human around the house, keeping you company no matter where you go. He’s an expert wrestler who enjoys playtime with his siblings and would thrive in a home with another playful cat to match his energy. He has not yet met a dog or children, but we think that he has the potential to warm up to respectful friends of any age/species - with proper introductions!

When the day winds down, Birch turns into a snuggle pro. His warm purrs are the ultimate comfort, and he’ll gladly curl up with you for a cozy cuddle session. Sometimes he will decide all the snuggles are never enough and will weave back and forth across your lap for minutes at a time, purring up a storm and asking for chin scratches and ear rubs.

Birch is neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. He’s ready to bring joy and companionship to his forever home!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.
Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.
Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.
Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.
