Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We call this cutie Kuri. She is a black mouth cur mix who was found by Seminole Animal Control, out and about wandering with her buddy, Banjo, by the casino. From the looks of her, Kuri has not had an easy time thus far but it has not killed her spirit. She is a little shy, but once she feels comfortable, she has lots of love to share. She is playful and enjoys the comfort of her humans.

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
