Fang is a stunning 1-year-old Rottweiler who is ready for a home that matches his potential! He’s been working with a trainer recently to address some typical Rottweiler behaviors, including specific behavioral issues that will require continued guidance and work. While he’s made fantastic progress, his new owner must be committed to ongoing training and structure to help him thrive.

Fang isn’t your typical snuggle bug; instead, he thrives when he has a job to do. He’s driven, focused, and has the makings of an incredible sport dog—ready to excel in any direction you take him! With a strong toy and treat drive, combined with impressive environmental stability, he’s built for an active, purpose-driven lifestyle.

The Ideal Home for Fang:
✔️ Experienced with Rottweilers and strong-working breeds
✔️ Knowledgeable and capable of working through behavioral challenges with patience and consistency
✔️ Committed to maintaining structured rules and ongoing training
✔️ Active, looking for a dog to work and play alongside
✔️ No children (adults-only household preferred)
✔️ Comfortable with cats, chickens, and other dogs (Fang is stable and neutral around them)

OFR wants to be sure you and a prospective pet are the best match. We set-up meet and greets at the foster home to make sure it's love!

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.
