My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let me tell ya about Roman—this little fella is just hitting the six-month mark and tips the scales at around 25 pounds. He's a clever dude; he's already got sitting down for treats pretty well figured out. At first, he might be a bit on the shy side, but trust me, this guy absolutely loves soaking up all the attention you’re willing to give him. When it comes to toys, oh boy—Roman's your typical power chewer! You'll definitely wanna get those extra durable ones unless you're looking to pick up pieces. Since he's still in that prime time for training, getting started with basic obedience commands is really gonna set him up nicely down the road. And hey, don’t skip over teaching him patience—with food or his favorite playthings...or anything really! You bet Roman's capable of picking up whatever new tricks you feel like throwing his way—as long as you put in some time and effort into it!

Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter

Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
