Meet Fudge!

Fudge is an adorable 5-year-old Chihuahua, weighing around 10 pounds. Found as a stray and brought to a shelter, we rescued this sweet boy just in time. Fudge may be a bit shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and adores affection. He’s fantastic with other dogs and gets along well with everyone he meets. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who’s ready for a forever home, Fudge could be the perfect match!
IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

We're open to the public Saturdays from 10am - 2pm. Appointments are available during the week.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
