My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maple is equal parts energetic and playful, as well as laid back chill and enjoying the nice weather! She loves squeaky toys, is crate trained, potty trained, and gets along great with any other dogs, children, and doesn’t mind cats! She also lives with chickens and is currently being trained up on the ins-and-outs of protecting a hobby farm!

She loves meeting new people, and warms up right away, giving the famous “Pyr paw” to continue getting belly rubs! She loves treats and already knows how to sit when prompted. She does great on a leash, though will still need redirected as she goes where her nose leads her!

TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
